the importance of understanding physics in order to grasp a better understanding of philosophy and the general rules of the universe is to better understand the non measurable but merely possibility of life. Physics focuses most of its studies such to explain the possibility of the mere possibility that a single photon can have either a particle like movement but a wave movement as well. Something that sounds very irrational to some of the realists. As philosophers arose during the ages they possessed the same ideology as many physicists that eliminated the notion that realism is only met if its measurable. Philosophers such as Socrates are prime examples who did not acknowledge the mere possibility that anything is established. Philosophers expanded the mere possible to reality. Physics study of natural science, ethics, morality, fearless for rational argument. As Bohr says, “Philosophically, the issue of realism in physics versus statistical approximations is a profound one and has implications for fields ranging from evolutionary psychology to Bayesian probability theories in neuroscience. Page 37 this is the main reason that Einstein had an issue with physics in the first place. They state in page 11 that Einstein’s main problem with the quantum theory and other theories derived from physics is, “that it was inherently probabilistic and that at its philosophic and methodological core was an uncertainty principle that pointed to the variability of human measurement.” Einstein has to be presented with not possibilities but facts. But as philosophers in past ages presented the ideas of motion and that the possibility of motion is a non ending process, which in many cases were a non realistic movement instead of a measurable or realistic explanation.
Eliminative materialism is that the common belief of how the mind works and some of the common sense reactions or idealisms are fake. For philosophy there is one common explanation of how everything works which is matter. In the video eliminative materialism it states a simple explanation, “"If phenomena can not be explained fully and comprehensibly by mathematics, then one turns to physics, then if that too is incomplete then to chemistry then to biology then to psychology then to sociology and if none of those subjects can explain it, then it's easy to say that God did it” this is where eliminative materialism rises from which provides a true more deep understanding of what the human mind tends to what to believe. Some simple examples of eliminative materialism are the notion that many religious people tend to have which is that demons have the fault that many people are ill. For example, the explanation of schizophrenia being the actual work of the devil is a common one. Now a day we have eliminated the wanted desire to believe our religious teachings by explaining it in a more psychological or mental perspective. Other examples include the god of thunder being thor and being the reason for lightning. And the other being the sun god who rides his horse around the world in order for the sun to rise.
