1. If you had to live your life over and over again (as given in Nietzsche's myth of eternal recurrence), describe precisely those things that you would change and why?
If I had live my life over and over again I would make some better decisions growing up. I would change some of the choices I made growing up and getting involved with guys at a super young age and have more respect for myself. I would have stuck with sports and got my full ride to college which I backed out of because of guys and partying. I would be more outgoing at a younger age so that I could have learned my worth a lot younger. I would have waited to get pregnant once I met the right guy although I do no regret my son I just wish I would older and that the father would be the man I am in a relationship with now! I would definitely spend more time with people who are positive energy in my life and not stick around the low lifes I was around when I was younger.
2. Thinking about your own life (and connecting to the movie, the limits of science), what are the biggest obstacles that you confront in your educational career? More precisely, what limitations do you have that you feel limit your understanding of varying subjects and ideas?
Obstacles that I confront in my education career is that I get bored in a classroom setting easily when the subject matter is not one that interests me but I have to take it because it is required. I also find my obstacles when the professor is disorganized it is extremely hard for me to follow along and retain and information thus making it hard for me to maintain focus and put forth the effort I would when I am interesting and attentive in a classroom setting. The limitations I have in understanding varying subjects is my judgmental behavior I know this may seem wrong but if a professor is annoying I lose all interest in trying to put effort in trying to understand the topic.
3. Since the advent of hyper technology, what devices have you become most attached or addicted to? Why? Which ones are your friends most attached to? What are the pros and cons of such devices (connecting, of course, to the movie, "Surfing the User Interface".
I am sure that commonly, I have become attached to my phone. The constant need I have to stay in contact with people and social media is my addiction. I feel that when I forget my phone a part of me is missing because then I am not in touch with my friends and family and I also am not able to check and social apps. The need of my phone is like my "Gods Got This" bracelet I take it everywhere with me. I feel like my friends are also attached to their phones I feel like more and more of our generation is born into technology and relies on it more and more to function like a normal person in society. The pros of having these devices is that it is extremely easy to stay connected to one another through communication at the touch of a button. The cons would be that people are becoming less engaged with one another on a personal level. Another con would be that people are less and less involved with mother nature and would rather be inside like the younger generations playing video games. Also like dating apps a lot of people aren't meeting in public like it used to be back in the day they are meeting by dating apps. I feel that technology is a great advance in the world but people should understand that there should be a balance of it and connecting to the real world and be social in physical forms rather than only having communication by technology.
