Essay Question 2.docx (41.96 KB) What is meant by the phrase, "philosophy done well is science; philosophy done poorly remains philosophy." “Philosophy done well is science; philosophy done poorly remains philosophy.” I think that this phrase means philosophy provides one to question and seek out the answer; and with the aid of science, we can falsify and test the hypothesis. On the other hand, if one questions but does not test their theory, it remains just that, a question. Philosophy and science go hand in hand; philosophy without science is just philosophy, but philosophy with science is one step closer to finding out the “truth”.
