How has technology impacted your life?
Technology has impacted my life in a huge way; in this age and time, I could safely say that my phone is a carbon copy of my life. Growing up, technology was just a perk to entertain my digital needs once and a while, because I was always playing with the other kids outside. As I got older, I shifted from using the not so private home phone to my very own cell phone. My current cell phone number is the same number I had when my parents first gave me a phone. When I was in middle school, I remember how flip phones were a huge craze, then it was the blackberry, and then it was the touch screen. Fast-forwarding to when Apple released its very first iPhone and soon iPhone’s were flying off the store shelf’s left right and center. If I had to choose a specific time in my life when my phone slowly began to become less of an object, but a part of me, would be the moment I was gifted my first iPhone for Christmas. Slowly every aspect of my life was being digitalized into this little square box; important numbers, conversations, emails, pictures, video clips, music, even my alarm, pill reminder, work email, etc. Without my phone, I would still be able to function, but not as conveniently.
