1. Why is Faqir Chand's experiences important in understanding the projective nature of religious visions and miracles?
Experiences that Faqir Chand has had in his life reflect the fear he was able to overcome, such as in the case during his battle in Iraq. During this particular instance Faqir experienced the fear of death when visions arose that told him not to worry and to not attack which ended up saving his life and his fellow soldiers. In the film Faqir Chand: Inner Visions and Running Trains he states that visions are seen within, these impressions are not real in this state of unconsciousness. It is important to understand Faqir’s experiences because “visions of religious personages are the products of one’s own inner development ( Mr. San Antonio College, p. i). He also stated that he know’s nothing and went on to prove that other gurus were ignorant about the real cause of religious visions and miracles. These visions and miracles are just illusory creations of the mind, a virtual simulator that comes from within oneself. Any advice or suggestions given by these miraculous visions have already been decided by the visioner. Our minds trick us in near death experiences and dreams in believing that what we see is real and some act made by god.

2. What is meant by the phrase, "philosophy done well is science; philosophy done poorly remains philosophy."
Philosophy is all about knowing and understanding things, it is a way of questioning to better understand how the universe works and our everyday lives. But there is a greater advantage by backing it up with science instead of just philosophical thinking, it makes it more valid or an actual fact of science. This relates to the original question asked before “why is understanding physics and the general rules of the universe so important in doing philosophy”. To be able to better comprehend things we must first understand physics and the general rules of the universe. Philosophy gets people to start questioning things, in other terms the scientific method begins, where one starts to collect information, form a hypothesis, test it and arrive to an explanation or theory. A hypothesis must be supported with evidence, similar to philosophy and science. A great example of this is Newton's laws of gravity, originally it was a philosophical idea being questioned, it was then tested, explained and become science. While other ideas remain philosophy, like the string theory that has yet to be proven.
