1. Do you think artificial intelligence will be a significant problem in the future?
I don't think artificial intelligence will be a significant problem in the future. Like it was said in the video "The Coming Singularity", human beings have been helped by artificial intelligence more than been harmed. Of course there will be downsides because there are pros and cons for everything. However, it was also mentioned in the video that solutions will be developed to combat the possible ways that technology can harm us, just like antivirus software. I am optimistic and willing to believe that human are the smartest creatures in the world and we can overcome every obstacle.
2. How has technology impacted your life?
I guess it's safe to say that every aspect in my life is impacted by technology. Without technology, there wouldn't be any electricity, appliances, computers, let alone smart phones! I have to admit that I cannot live without smart phones now. In addition, technology has advanced in many disciplines. Take medicine for an example, I might not be able to live without the right treatment when I was sick. When I look at everything I can see right now, there's technology behind it. It's almost like technology has become the air and water in our lives.
